MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international inroads into the Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won an Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for the year 2017. In Medellin in 2017, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN his debut long player. It reached the top 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. Mala Influencia was his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. The following season, Dopamina became his second album. In 2021, he sang a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo was raised in the musical home of his family. Both his younger brother and his mother are each musicians. In his interviews, he's described participating in music as compulsory. When he was a kid, he began learning how to play the saxophone, ukulele and piano. Although his first career choice was becoming an animal veterinarian but his brother Julian encouraged him to start learning to sing with a Cuban. It transformed his life forever.
